Intel 537 Modem在Redhat 9.0中如何驱动？

Toshiba Satellite 3000安装Redhat9.0后，不能用Modem拔号。
如果在设备中选/etc/modem，在检测modem的时候就会显示无法打开设备。
如果在设备中选/etc/ttyS0，在检测modem的时候就会显示modem忙。

不知道是什么原因，不过老实说，我还搞不清楚notebook上的modem到底是用哪个ttyS?.

补充一下，在win2000中，只显示: Toshiba Software Modem AMR.

我想应该是软件modem的原因吧，不知道有没有解决方法。：P

台兄应该看一下LinuxSir的首页的公告 。问题还是没有说明白。

一。要知道自己用什么系统，内核以及版本。
#uname -a
二。要知道猫的芯片组
#lspci
三。是否为这个猫安装了驱动？？？如果安装了，您是用什么方法。如果没有安装驱动，上不网很正常，要仔细把第一个和第二条的参数帖上来。这样才能提供有效的帮助。

据上面的地址上说，用的是这 Conexant的驱动。

下载这个驱动来试试，如果您不能在linux下载，可以下载到软盘或者windows分区，但安装时必须复制到linux分区才能安装，否则安装无效。

#rpm -ivh *.rpm
然后设置kppp
#kppp
