请教：关于在配置lfs6.2时 安装gcc编译和安装问题？

我用的宿主系统是ubuntu，内核版本2.6.27-7-generic， 在做到5.4. GCC-4.0.3 - 第一遍时，在为编译配置参数时，../gcc-4.0.3/configure --prefix=/tools --with-local-prefix=/tools --disable-nls --enable-shared  --enable-languages=c
先是过不去 ，后来在gcc－4.0.3中的configure文件中加了一句 CC="gcc -B/usr/bin" ，就可以生成makefile ,   make bootstrap可以进行,但是make install 不能通过, 错误信息为
/bin/sh ../gcc-4.0.3/mkinstalldirs /tools /tools
mkdir -p -- /tools /tools
mkdir: cannot create directory `/tools': File exists
mkdir: cannot create directory `/tools': File exists
make: *** [installdirs] Error 1
