I've installed the eth0 and dhcpcd, with the dhcpcd ,I got an IP. I can only ping my own host and the machines in LAN. when I ping our school 's site: www.xxx.edu.cn it cannot ping successfully.It echoed :host no found.
by the way I can't ping netmask successfully.
my /etc/conf.d/net:
iface_eth0="dhcp"
the same /etc/conf.d/net the same /etc/conf.d/resolv.conf
I can connect well under LiveCD but not under the system I newly installed.
How to set gateway in your configure file is described in the file /etc/conf.d/net.example. And netmask, I think, is not a valuable destination to ping.

PS: The Duetsch words in the title makes me very confusing. "Helfen" is the Duetsch word of "help"?

No, I can't type Chinese , and cannot enter sites abroad, for I'm in campus.
Anyway, if one have to speak a language which others don't know, he should apologize first, before he speaks.
Because you are wasting other people's time here, they would have to use some language tool to translate your word before they could understand what you have said, so that they could answer you.

If you could not reach the page I give you, you'd best refer to the man page of route. Just enter "man route" in your terminal and read it carefully. I wish you could reach the page as that one is much easier to understand.
IMHO, it might be a problem beyond where you can solve. I mean it might be the administrators' fault if it could be solved by neither setting route's parameter nor setting DNS server. Try to ask them for help.
