emacs-cvs, but scim can not input chinese in emacs when using gnome, but can input in firefox,gnome-terminal

(now, can not input in every where)

I just want to use scim with emacs-cvs

可能是因为你的XMODIFIERS没有设，
export XMODIFIERS="@im=SCIM"
然后在同一个console中启动emacs看看
试试

设置了的,而且我用scim在ff和别的地方都没问题, (设置错误的话在别的地方能用吗?我也不清楚)
只有emacs里用不了,  ctrl-space的时候emacs说mark actived...换别的热键也不行...
昨晚上是由于一顿乱设置结果在ff上也发不了中文了...
现在在公司的winxp上回帖-_-

我也碰到这个了，后来用fcitx了，哈哈哈

这个问题我知道，困扰了我一年多。那时候我连fcitx也激活不了。
解决的方法是[color="Red"]把系统中不常用的中文字体都删掉。我只留了simsun和yahei。

我当时把windows下的中文字体复制了不少过来用，删掉后ooo要用字体，可以放到~/.ooo-2.0/user/fonts下。

解决的办法就是LC_CTYPE="zh_CN.GBK" emacs。。。

我昨天装了emacs-cvs试了一下，没有问题。
你看看你的scim有没有加载X的前端：

1. ps aux | grep scim

如果没有下面这个的话：

1. /usr/lib/scim-1.0/scim-launcher -d -c socket -e socket -f x11

复制代码

就在~/.xprofile中加入：

1. export XMODIFIERS="@im=SCIM"
2. export XIM_PROGRAM="scim -d"

emacs-cvs不知道跟什么包有冲突似的，我系统刚装好的时候用emacs-cvs和scim没有什么问题，但后来又陆陆续续装了一些软件包之后在zh_CN.UTF-8环境下就用不了scim了，还得LC_CTYPE="zh_CN.GBK" emacs这样才能用
