求助:Xorg配置出错

平台:ThinkPad T60,ATI显卡,内核版本2.6.21-gentoo-r1,安装ATI开源驱动
问题现象:
安装完ATI驱动和X之后,运行Xorg -configure配置出错,提示信息如下:

也尝试过使用xorgcfg -textmode来手工配置,但这样也不能使xinit启动成功。

哪位遇到过这个问题?多谢相助~~

我的电脑和你的一样x1300, T60,你的driver好像用的不对,应该是fglrx. 而且你现在用的是2.6.21的kernel. 本来你可以用emerge ati-drivers但是只有在35.5以上才支持2.6.20,至于2.6.21我没有试过。但目前gentoo在ati上的驱动更新很慢,所以你不得不到bugs.gentoo.org中去找更高版本的ati-drivers,比如35.5或36.5(我现在用的)的ebuild和patch.才能正常emerge.稍微有点麻烦。在你emerge成功后,xorg.conf的问题就简单多了。当然kernel也要有的配置,很简单。

呜呜,我答应你,以后再也不买带ATI显卡的PC了。
但这台T60已经买了,也只能硬着头皮用了。

我前几天在家里的台式机上也安装过gentoo,内核也是21(现在这个T60上的是21-r1),用的也是ATI的开源驱动,知道ATI的闭源驱动更新慢。

问题是同样的安装过程,怎么在T60上就不行呢?
内核的配置已经按照链接上的要求配置了。

然后如何操作啊?

我刚刚找到了这个链接:http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=175337
你下载最新的 ati-drivers-8.36.5.ebuild、firegl.patch, 可能还要一个叫ati-powermode-opt-path.patch的补丁,你可以先试试,有问题就提出来,反正我是安装成功的,应该能帮的上你。安装完后,别忘了把ati-drivers暂时放在paskage.mask中,免得在下次升级中破坏了。

另外,ati-powermode-opt-path.patch可以在这里找到 http://mirror.linux.org.mt/mirro ... /ati-drivers/files/

大致如下:

(1)把ati-drivers-8.36.5.ebuild、firegl.patch和ati-powermode-opt-path.patch放到/usr/portage/x11-drivers/ati-drivers/目录下
(2)ebuild ati-drivers-8.36.5.ebuild digest, 如果有问题调整patch文件的位置到files的目录中
(3)emerge -av ati-drivers 看看是不是8.36.5, 也可能要用ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" 或干脆用"="指定版本
(4)把ati-drivers暂时放在paskage.mask中,免得在下次升级中破坏

emerge 成功后还有xorg.conf的问题,我可以给你我的
