关于SLED10在IBM THINKPAD T42 8ZH上XGL设置的问题。

我在THINKPAD T42 8ZH上安装SLED10，安装一些顺利，无法使用硬件加速，也就无法使用XGL，也就无法打开3D桌面等效果，有那位大侠知道怎么解决显示问题？显卡是ATI MOBILITY R9600PRO。ATI.COM网上也没有9600 For Linux的驱动程序。

I installed SLED 10 in my Dell inspiron 6400 laptop and I got the same question. My video card is ATI x1300. Sled recoginzed my card but I can't change the screen to 1280*800(My screen is 15.4 inch). And I don't know how to choose the type of my monitor.  Thanks!

我在T42-8ZU安装了SLED10，之后去Novell Customer Center配置Updater，需要注册Novell Account时的email和activation code，然后就可以update了。

打开XGL：
在control center里打开desktop effect，激活XGL，这时会提示“Mobility Radeon 9600不在XGL的库里”，不用理会，升级之。

我的T42-8ZU装了2G的内存，跑XGL很流畅。
