为了避免整个版上充斥xgl主题，特开此帖。目前我的xgl状况是被Ati驱动的一个bug所碍，坏处就是现在还没装上xgl，好处是看了N多文档，有什么问题能从理论上回答一下。

还有一个问题解决页面我没来得及翻英语的wiki就被下载的流量挂了，那个页面也很重要，早看了我就不会用1晚上作无用功。但那个页面的大体意思就是 Ati 显卡基本不用考虑xgl，如果是我这种ATI+KDE，:mad: 那就基本完全没戏。对了，那页面大家找代理上google快照能看。

再罗嗦下
不管你什么显卡，一定要先装驱动再上xgl（太低级显卡就不用装了，反正弄上xgl也死慢）
装驱动前注意一定要装上gcc, make, kernel-source!!!

看来我的mobility x700目前是没什么指望了阿，另外下面这是什么意思？在gentoo-wiki里看到的

ATI PCI-Express x300/x700/x600/x1400/x??? random lockups
-Add these lines to the device section of your xorg.conf

   Option       "UseInternalAGPGART" "no" #this already exists, so just update it if you have "yes here", make sure to have agpgart compiled on your kernel.
   Option       "KernelModuleParm" "agplock=0"

这不是最主要的问题，X700可以实现XGL尤其是GNOME用户。
就是让你在xorg里面家一行   Option       "KernelModuleParm" "agplock=0"
我装上8.24.8驱动发现里面已经有这行了

关键问题是SUSE默认用了一个: 93
ATI驱动会先尝试XOpenDisplay :0 .0发现不行就锁死
由于xglQueryVersion
有人说是ATI驱动问题

可是我不明白。到底是最新的ATI的驱动好还是在 XGL认可驱动好？（ati-driver-installer-8.22.5-i386.run  还是 ati-driver-installer-8.24.8-x86.run  好？？）

因为我在XGL认可的列表中没看倒 8.24.8这个驱动！

暂时没找到偶的显卡的notes, ati也不改改。。。

X300和X700一样xorg.conf确定有那行就行。
随机锁死就可以解决。
我用了2小时，没问题！
