mysql的安装问题

我想架设apache+mysql+php，可是装这几个软件都让我头爆了，还是装不了。

精华帖也看了不少，照着做也不行，apache 与 php 在make 和 make install 后都没有问题，在mysql解压后，用 ./configure 就出来了以下问题，不知道何故？

[root@localhost mysql-standard-5.0.12-beta-linux-i686]# ./configure --prefix=/soft/mysql
NOTE: This is a MySQL binary distribution. It's ready to run, you don't
need to configure it!

To help you a bit, I am now going to create the needed MySQL databases
and start the MySQL server for you.  If you run into any trouble, please
consult the MySQL manual, that you can find in the Docs directory.

Installing all prepared tables
Fill help tables

To start mysqld at boot time you have to copy support-files/mysql.server
to the right place for your system

PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !
To do so, start the server, then issue the following commands:
./bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'
./bin/mysqladmin -u root -h localhost password 'new-password'

You can start the MySQL daemon with:
cd . ; ./bin/mysqld_safe &

You can test the MySQL daemon with the benchmarks in the 'sql-bench' directory:
cd sql-bench ; perl run-all-tests

Please report any problems with the ./bin/mysqlbug script!

Starting the mysqld server.  You can test that it is up and running
with the command:
./bin/mysqladmin version

这行“NOTE: This is a MySQL binary distribution. It's ready to run, you don't
need to configure it!”我看懂了，可是接下去不知道怎么做了。

高手指点迷途吧，好吗?还有若能简单地说明一下如何架设apache+php+mysql，那就更好了，精华贴里的太复杂了。

You can start the MySQL daemon with:
cd . ; ./bin/mysqld_safe &

你下的是个二进制的安装文件，不需要编译安装

怎么运行呢

看看INSTALL或README啊，我昨天刚安装的，没问题
运行是bin/safe_mysqld

The file /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqld doesn't exist or is not executable
Please do a cd to the mysql installation directory and restart
this script from there as follows:
./bin/mysqld_safe.
