新到贵论坛，问个菜鸟问题，高手帮忙看下为什么我编译mysql不成功？

各位达人大家好，小弟刚学习LINUX一个多月。现在想编译安装mysql
按照贵论坛精华贴的说明step by step 安装mysql

但是第一步./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mysql 编译就不成功

提示错误信息我贴上来 请大家帮忙看看

看错误好象是mysql编译不能通过目录，但是我用的是root帐户进行编译的啊，而且为了排除文件权限的问题把/usr/local/mysql 目录设置为777权限了。但是还是不行。

我用的linux 是 RedHat 7.3   内核是 2.4.18-3swp
mysql是从它的官网上 download的mysql-standard-4.1.5-gamma-pc-linux-i686.tar.gz

请各位高手告诉我，失败的原因是什么，该怎么解决呢。小弟是新人 万望各位不吝指教！先谢谢了！！！
