MYSQL V4.0.20a 安装需不需要！！
tar zxvf  MYSQL V4.0.20a.tar.gz
cd  MYSQL V4.0.20a
./confgiuer
出错了，到底要不要./configure

如果是辕马包就要，不知道你的错误信息，贴一下吧。。


如果是二进制的程序包，是直接运行的包。。。

note: if you are upgrading from a mysql<=3.22.10 you should run the
./bin/mysql_fix_privilege_tables.other wise you will not beable to use
the new grant command.
you can start the mysql daemon with:
cd:./bin/mysql_saft&
you can tese the mysql daemon with the benchmark in the 'sql_bench'
directory:cd sql_bench; prerl run_all_tests
plase report any problems with th ./bin/mysql/buy script!
the latest in formation about mysql is available on the web at
http://www.mysql.com
support the mysql server.you can test that it is up and running with
the command: ./bin/mysqlandmin version
