大家可以到 http://freedesktop.org/~suzhe/download.html 下载。二进制包还没有制作完成，目前仅有 SUSE 9.1 的包。

大家只要使用 scim -d 启动 SCIM 即可同时使用 SCIM 的 gtk2 immodule 和 XIM 输入法了。当然别忘了:

$ export XMODIFIERS=@im=SCIM
$ export GTK_IM_MODULE=scim

注意大小写。

oh, I just came back from a trip and noticed the 1.0 beta version has been released.

I am afraid I can not release a skim beta version soon, because I am still struggling implementing on-demand loadable plugins/actions and a lot more work still needs to be done before a beta release...

和目前 CVS 上的代码是一样的。不过你不需要安装 gconf 系列包就可以编译这个 SCIM 包。

装的是 scim-chinese 0.4.0 么？

install scim 0.99
./configure --prefix=/usr && make && make install

install scim-chinese 0.4.0
./configure && make && make install

scim-chinese can find scim 0.99!
so .....

你应该将scim-chinese的路径设为/usr，加参数--prefix=/usr
