以前有patch呀，比如

新的file-selector只有在gnome里面才有效，在kde里面，还是原来的模样。更不爽的是，现在不能直接输入路径了，非要一层层的选，连windows都不如。

它这个fileselector是依赖gnome-vfs的（这个好像是方向吧，可以看看winfs的设计，
最早的是BeFS），

它模仿macosx更多一些，
直接输入路径倒可以用[ctrl] + [L],
我可能习惯了beos的opentracker,所以特别喜欢新的nautilus的OO,


看来，Gnome的下一个革命性的改变可能要等到Cairo-based 的 GTK+版本吧（2.6/2.8??）。

一些感觉：
1.nautilus确实是比以前快多了，几乎是没什么延迟的感觉了。
2.可以直接调屏幕分辨率了。
3.yelp的速度也快了不少。
但还是有一些问题没有解决：
1.就是computor中的各项，在我这里是不能打开的，每次双击的时候，都是说没有关联应用程序。而且图标也是一张白纸。
2. yelp中，帮助文件都是用gedit打开，所以都没法看帮助。不知道怎么调过来。
3.nautilus中的新建中说no template installed.不知道是装哪个module.
以上的测试，我都是用新建的用户测试的。

Yesterday, I recompiled the GNOME2.6 with jhbuild(the previous one is build by cvsgnome), and the first two of three problems mentioned above went away.
I almost successfully compiled all the modules, except gnomemeeting and memprof(complaint of no lib??).
and I'm posting via epiphany.
By now, everything went very well to me.
Sorry for English, no chinese input method was configured.

各自的爱好了，没有必要说清楚谁好谁坏，我自己喜欢kde我就用，你不用kde并不能说明kde不如gnome，kde的使用数量是No1。
