廣告是不可能了。

這個問題應該是Arch最大的敗筆，它假設每個新版本都是最好的。我就是因為版本轉投了Gentoo。

的确没gentoo方便，相信不人archer都遇到了，不过试想一下一个升级像火箭的二进制发行版不断保留旧版的包会很吓人，不过像这样这么快整又干掉上一次版本的做法又不是很认同

上回遇到nvidia的驱动BUG，好在找到PKGBUILD弄弄，OK了，所以有遇到类似问题的朋友留意一下pkgbuild的svn仓库试着回滚一下，另一个方法就是能把老的包找出来自己弄个本地仓库或pacman.conf加个忽略。

广告？ 太强悍了吧，我有两年多没用过  ?dm 的玩意了，习惯了startx

应该说，Arch 把更新变得太容易了，显然更新又是一件相当刺激的事，于是用户不知不觉养成了“更新癖”。

实际上，更新后出现问题了，不是件好事吗？正好锻炼一下动手能力。从源码角度来看，其实往往都是小问题。

抱歉，措辭不當，這只是我的主觀理解。

我覺得，開發者不應該把問題推給用戶，這個問題的癥結在於Arch的特點——簡潔。雖然同時提供多個版本要更好，但這樣Arch的包管理系統就不會太簡潔。真是糾結啊。

这个倒是真的。可是 pacman 一直是在开发中的，大家都认为它还不够完善。

我看啊，也就 Gnome、KDE 这样的大块头更新起来麻烦。而从 Arch 的哲学来说，其实是不推荐用它们的。

不过呢，为什么不试试在 Ubuntu 或 FreeBSD 下更新 Gnome？我看，Arch 己经做的挺不错的了。

不如和我一样 用openbox+tint2 安装和设置都是傻瓜化 可是需要一点点动手能力

你用163的源重新安装gnome吧 貌似是老版本 记得连 .gnome 之类也删除

gnome目前处在3.0开发的历史阶段 痛经没什么 很正常

可以用gnome出的live cd安装 单具体就不知道了 你可以虚拟机实验一下
