只要xinitrc文件存在,就启动不了X,高手帮忙看一下啊

我是从stage3一路装过来的
装了xorg-x11、xfce4并设置后
startx没有问题了

但后来我装了SCIM,想让SCIM随着Xfce4一起启动,问题就来了
我照着网上的教程,在~/.config/xfce4/下面加了一个文件xinitrc
输入scim的启动信息,再startx就不行了,屏幕闪了一下,就又回到字符界面
开始以为xinitrc里面写的东西有错,就清了,只留一个空的xinitrc文件在那
startx还是不行,老样子
唯有把xinitrc文件删除了才可以成功启动xfce4

也试过把SCIM的启动信息放在~/.xinitrc文件里,也是一样启动不了XFCE
也必须把这个文件删了才行

哪位高人帮忙看一下是什么原因

只要有那个文件在,就是启动不了XFCE4
直接进入X通过slim或是gdm也是启动不了,虽然slim和gdm可以正常进入
屏幕一闪就又回到slim或是gdm的登录界面了

startx时出现的出错信息是:

/usr/bin/startxfce4: X server already running on display :0

FreeFontPath: FPE "/usr/share/fonts/misc/" refcount is 2, should be 1; fixing.


麻烦帮忙看一下了,我Google了两个晚上了,都没搞定

权限设了吗?

文件是在~目录下面的,也是用该用户建的文件,肯定是有权限的吧

那个提示不是错误,具体错误请看/var/log/Xorg.0.log

我想应该是你的这个~/.config/xfce4/xinitrc优先级会比别的高,也就是会首先查看是否有这个文件,有就利用这个文件启动。所以你可以把需要启动的东西都写到xinitrc里面去。比如exec startxfce4

还有,如果你利用gdm,那么定义scim是通过~/.xprofile

……网上的教程,其实也没有什么的
就自己emerge scim scim-tables
然后按照http://wiki.xfce.org/howto/scim这个来设置的xinitrc文件

xinitrc文件里面不能加startxfce4的,不然就会形成一个死循环
试过了的,因为startx之后,就会执行xinitrc文件的东西
会继续执行startxfce4,之后再执行到xinitrc

现在关键是只有要有这个文件,都会有问题,进不了xfce4

放在这个文件 ~/.xinitrc也是一样的,只要有这个文件也是启动不了的
已经设成我的显卡了的


呵呵,如果没找过Gentoo的一些文档,我也不会上来问了
当然,GENTOO的文档里面可能也有相关的资料,或许也是我笨,找不到而已

XFCE4的安装,就是照着GENTOO的官方文档来的

一般来说,你按照什么文档做的,至少要写出来地址,就算用的是gentoo自己的文档
像这种只有“网上的教程”5个字的,我一看到立刻整个贴子我都不想看了
感觉只有一个,这位提问题的仁兄还没上路

请你不要见怪,我只是说说我内心的想法
同时让更多的人了解,提问题,乃至解决问题的一般方法
