Question About configuring $VIDEO_CARDS and $ALSA_CARDS variable

I saw in the file of /usr/portage/profiles/default-linux/make.defaults, the variable $VIDEO_CARDS and $ALSA_CARDS has a lot of cards. Do I need to modify it to what I only need for my computer in make.conf?

If needed, How to change it ? Whether Only copying the definition of the variable and delete the useless flags in make.conf or like USE, using -mach64 to remove the flag?

ALSA_CARDS="intel8x0" //声卡类别
VIDEO_CARDS="radeon" //显卡类别

我记忆当中，如果你是使用内核中的 ALSA 内核，好像就不用设置 ALSA_CARDS 了。

如果不写上，系统就把所有驱动都装上了。

不是吧，确实不写 ALSA_CARDS 变量的值是全部系统认可的值，但是如果没有安装 alsa-driver 的话，应该是任何驱动都没有安装才对。

在内核中还是要配制声卡设备啊，自然不用ALSA_CARDS这个变量了
