关于3D加速的设置，FPS值提高了很多。

看了官方的3D加速文章，发现在xorg.conf里面进行如下三项设置：
Section "Device"
    Identifier     "Videocard0"
    Driver         "nvidia"
    ........
        Option     "AGPMode" "4"
        Option     "AGPFastWrite" "True"
        Option     "EnablePageFlip" "True"
   ........

通过glxgears测试发现自己的机器fps提高了2倍。原先大约2800fps,设置这三个后，测试值如下：（rendering)

34044 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6808.736 FPS
34762 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6952.318 FPS
34619 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6923.613 FPS
34100 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6819.973 FPS
32848 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6569.496 FPS
(direct)
33351 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6670.060 FPS
34096 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6819.082 FPS
30738 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6147.443 FPS
33817 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6763.335 FPS
29215 frames in 5.0 seconds = 5842.991 FPS
35078 frames in 5.0 seconds = 7015.597 FPS
34545 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6908.993 FPS
31145 frames in 5.1 seconds = 6160.820 FPS
(我在内核和make.conf也改了些设置,现在感觉不错，性能得到挺大地提高）

win下我的bios里打开fastwrite系统不太稳定，关了，linux我要试下。

嗨，没什么效果。有可能bios里没打开等会再看看。
反正我的经验就是：要想大幅提高fps值，把窗口缩到最小.......

我记得nvidia不需要这个东西的。。。

LZ的那个分数是怎么提高这么多的？无解...

我的显卡是nvidia geforce fx 5200(AGP显卡）,CPU Athlon XP 2500, DDR166 256M
同时在内核中修改了如下参数设置：
1、取消Generic x86 support
2、把支持多CPU设置关闭，
3、Preemption Model设为Voluntary Kernel Preemption (Desktop)，
4、Processor type and features中央处理器(CPU)类型及特性设为Athlon。
5、High Memory Support设为off，Timer frequency设为1000Hz
有兴趣的可以试试。
