lack of curl-config...

When I compile of bitstorm with Gcc4.1.0 in the process of configuration, it shows me missing  "libcurl". What is libcurl?


checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes

configure: error: the curl-config script installed by libcurl could not be found.  libcurl is required.


I try to "emerge -s curl" to search, there is no libcurl,except dev-lisp/cl-curl

oh...I solved by myself when I emerge dev-python/pycurl, and at the same time, it will install net-misc/curl...
