我怎么还是播不了号，上不了网？

本菜鸟在自己的努力和朋友的帮助下中于把Debian装上了，昨天经过整整一晚上的研究也没有实现自己拨号上网（我用的是网通的ADSL）。查了很多Linuxsir.Org上的帖子也没有解决问题，没办法，菜鸟就是菜鸟。现把我配置的过程告诉大家，希望大侠帮忙了，必有重谢！555555!
     输入pppoeconf：出现交互界面
第一步：ALL  DEVICE  FOUND
        I found 1 ethernet decice: eth0………..         
        我选择了”是”
第二步：SCANNING  DEVICE
        通过了
第三步：OKAY  TO  MODIFY
        If you continue with this programe, the configuration file  /etc/ppp/dsl-provider will modified . Please make sure that you have a backup copy before saying Yes.
Continue with configuration?
        我选择了”是”
第四步：POPULAR  OPTIONS
       Most people using popular dialup providers prefer the options ‘noauth’ and ‘default route’ in their configuration and remove the ‘nodetach’ option. Should I check your configuration file and change these settings where necessary?
        我选则了”是”
第五步：ENTER USERNANE
        Plese enter the username while you usually need for the for the PPP login to you provider in the input box below. If you wish to see the help screen delete the username and press OK.
        我输入的是ISP提供的用户名：00sxxxx@lg
第六步：ENTER PASSWORD
        我输入了ISP提供的密码：xxxxxx
第七步：USE PEER DNS
        You need at least one DNS IP address to resolve the normal host names. Normally your provider sends you addresses of useable servers when the connection is automatically to the list of namesevers in you local   /etc/resolv.conf file?(recommend)
        选择了”是”
第八步：LIMITED MSS PROBLEM
       Many providors have routera that do not support TCP packets with a MSS higher than 1460 . Uaually ,out going packets have this MSS when they go through ine real Eguernet link with default MTV SIZE (1500). Unfortunately, if you are forwarding packets from other hosts (i.e doing masquerading) the MSS may be increased depending on the packet size and the route to the client hosts ,so your client machines want be able to connect to some sites ,There is a solution: the Maximun MSS can be limited by pppoe documentation
      Should pppoe clamp MSS at 1452 bytes?
(If you still get problem described above ,try setting to 1412)

       Your PPPD is configured now. Whould you like to start the connetion at boot time?

第十步：ESTABLISH A CONNECTION
Now,you can make a DAL connection with “pon dsl-provider” and terminate. It with “poff” whould you like to start the connection now?
选择”是”

然后就出现了一下的问题：
      CONNECTION INITATED
The DSL connection has been triggered
You can use the “plog” commaned to see the statea or “if config ppp0” for general interface info.
根据出现的问题我键入命令：pon dsl-provide
再键入pppoe，出现了一堆乱码之后，我再键入：w3m www.google.com 还是没戏。
给我郁闷的一宿没睡着觉。请各位大虾一定帮忙，看看我哪里出错了，步胜感激！

你是哪里的？我们这里网通的拨号程序是专用的，用的不是pppoe。

我是哈尔滨的，用pppoe也应该能实现吧。

我拨号时到了最后一步就不管它了，也就是不pon dsl-provide。直接可以上。

pppoeconf执行完就可以了。然后ifconfig看看是否有ppp0？

vi  /ect/network/interface
  把 iface ethN inetup dhcp行 用＃注释掉。

重新启动，类似问题可以解决

这个要用网通的专用拨号软件ＲＡＣＥＲ，可以在网通的主页上下到．使用方法可以参考网上的资料，很多
