Gentoo下GDM和非root用户乱码!!!! [已解决]

在Gentoo下弄了simsun.ttf ,并在local.conf里加入了调整默认字体顺序的代码，但gdm的菜单仍乱码，在普通用户下也是，见图 （已经在/etc/X11/xorg.conf 中加入了 /usr/share/fonts/TrueType/Chinese,字体也是放在这里的）

我安装的 mozilla-firefox-bin 没有中文，但我的 LINGUAS 里其实有 zh_CN,firefox也显示出有中文语言包，但就是没有中文 locale zh_CN.UTF-8

麻烦大家帮下我哦，感激不尽 :thank :thank

晕！！
原来是没有mkfontdir mkfontscale
还有，字体文件要 chmod a+r ,我用root 从windows cp时默认是 r-------- !
