为何按各位高手的方法装不了nvidia的显卡驱动啊？[10.1版本]

安装步骤如下：

在root权限下,先键入init 3 然后cd到NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8762-pkg1.run所在的目录.运行sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8756-pkg1.run -q，随后进入nvidia driver安装界面，但是突然冒出一句提示：" No matching precompiled kernel interface was found on the NVIDIA ftp site;this means that the installer will need to compile a kernel interface for your kernel." 不知道又是哪里安装出了问题请各位高手指点一下。我已经搞了两个多小时了！我的是suse 10.1版本。

你安装了内核源代码了没有，就是kernel-source的rpm包

谢谢huabeirong，我在DVD安装盘里面找到了一个kernel-source-2.6.16.13-4.i586，不知道是不是，然后用命令#rpm -vih kernel-source-2.6.16.13-4.i586安装kernel-source，但还是不行啊，依然会出现上述情况。无奈之下又重装了一遍，包括在线更新，所有能装的全装了还是不行。简直崩溃了！一天下来一事无成！！

这个没关系的。他说找不到已经编译好的驱动，需要重新编译一个，ok就行了，等着他编译完。

gcc (对应内核的版本）
nvidia-kernel-source
搜索kernel安装
如果这样不行看提示，少什么装什么
另外，装完以后设置sax2 -r -m o=nvidia
suse的nvidia驱动还是很好装的.

按照qwerqwer的方法就可以了,如果不行的话就去NVIDIA下最新的驱动,我记得版本是8774
