How to recompile audio card module ?

should i "make menuconfig" and unchoose  all other modules ?

My T23 audio doesn't work ,i want to probe the alsa driver and i came to here :

It hint recompile audio module,what should i do ?

Gentoo linux # lspci |grep audio

Thank you,it's working now.
only unselect oss modules and recompile with "make oldconfig" will done.
but here is the new problem.
The alsa driver doesn't work after reboot,and alsaconf do the work well,but how to auto load the alsa?
