Could not insert hardware watchpoint ????

When I add a wathpoint during debugging,the gdb hinted as followed:

warning: Could not remove hardware watchpoint 2.

Could not insert hardware watchpoint 2
could not insert hardware watchpoints:
you may have requested too many hardware breakpoints/watchpoints.

why? Only one watchpoint I add !

Help please !
