emerge问题，什么都装不了

装完gentoo,然后连网emerge sync后，出现如下信息：
!!! ARCH is not set... Are you missing the /etc/make.profile symlink?
!!! Is the symlink correct? Is your portage tree complete?
于是ln -s /usr/portage/profiles/default-linux/x86/2004.3/ /etc/make.profile建立symlink，在运行emerge就是这样的信息：
!!! 'str' object has no attribute 'insert'
!!! 'rm -Rf /usr/portage/profiles; emerge sync' may fix this. If it does
!!! not then please report this to bugs.gentoo.org and, if possible, a dev
!!! on #gentoo (irc.freenode.org)

:ask “'rm -Rf /usr/portage/profiles; emerge sync”后还是不行啊

写了/etc/make.conf了吗？里面有定义ARCH的。

就是什么"~arch"这一行吗
改成了"~86",已去掉了注释符
不行啊

我用的是gentoo2004.2的光盘
是不是版本太老的关系

确认有make.profile

嗯，明白了
用了2005的光盘装就好了
可能是make.profile的规则改变过了，而04光盘里的emerge不适应
大家注意不要再用04的光盘了

check /etc/resolv.conf, make sure Ur box`s DNS working well.

at 2days ago , i made a gentoo-box on, still with 2004.3 live-cd,  still working well , can emerge everthing i want.
