Help !!! Can't use fcitx!!!

I've installed the rpm version of fcitx. And I could see the small bar. But I still can't input any chinese!!! My OS is English version Redhat Linux 9.0.

You should do ./configure;make;make install.That's better!
So that you can see some message .Maybe it need some supports.
