可能您的系统有些老。
这样安装
./configure --prefix=/usr --disable-xft

我找到xft.pc的包了, XFree86-devel-4.3.0-2.i386.rpm, 因为装redhat的时候，可能没有装XFree86的包，所以在configure的时候出错，XFree86的包是不是属于GNOME的开发包里面? GNOME的开发包工具我一个也没装.
不知道--disable-xft有没有影响, 有机会再装装看, 谢谢Yuking大的回帖.
