运行qmailctl start时遇到问题??

在RH9安装qmail,启动时,出现错误
[root@localhost root]# qmailctl start
Starting qmail
qmail-send supervise not running
qmail-smtpd supervise not running
然后,我用life with qmail 中提供的inst_check检测
[root@localhost qmail]# sh inst_check
! Couldn't find SV entry in inittab
'! svscan /service' doesn't seem to be running
不知道问题出在哪里 :ask
请高手指点解决啊!:help

很标准的安装的啊,感觉毛病就在
! Couldn't find SV entry in inittab
'! svscan /service' doesn't seem to be running
可是我不是很明白这两行提示是什么意思.

?? 我没碰过,也没运行过这脚本,,是什么东西来的 ? 启动伴随脚本 ?
