overlay 问题

Portage 树中没有pdfedit , 但sunrise overlay 中有，所以就想试试overlay. 但overlay 主页上说Portage automatically searches your main Portage tree (in /usr/portage), and all of the overlays that you've installed, and picks the latest version of the package that it can find.就是装了overlay后，其他软件也就一样可能就用overlay中最新的了，我担心不稳定。
请教有否方法只安装需要的overlay中的某个包，而其他的仍然用官方portage中的版本呢？

portage里有的，sunrise中都不给放。所以，请放心使用。
