开个帖子讨论一下Gentoo在笔记本上的问题吧。
我在我的MacbookPro上面安装了，但是现在还有些针对笔记本（MBP）的问题没有解决，我想大家可能也会有这样或那样和笔记本相关的问题吧，一起讨论一下。

目前问题，
键盘背光的问题，在控制台的时候用Pommed可以控制，但是每次gnome启动后，背光自动开启，Pommed就不再起作用了，需要切换到console才能关掉。

iSight问题，按照Wiki上说的，安装了驱动和Firmware了，但是/dev下面没有video0文件。

Sleep问题和Hibernate问题，现在还没有搞，不过据说比较麻烦。

电池性能问题，不知道大家怎么控制让Gentoo在笔记本上的电池性能表现的更好一些。

Suspend and Hibernate is not very difficult. Search this forums for recent threads. I remember that someone have given an easy way of suspending and hibernating on gentoo-sources-based kernel.
    Some notebooks of specific types need specific ways to work. Except wiki, I found no other way. You can just try to talk on IRC (channel #gentoo).
    If the driver is not working correctly, please make sure that you have "modprobe"d it.

我的MBP用的好像就是这个，好用，现在已经开始使用Networkmanager了，不过无线网络还没有配置，内核模块已经解决了。

谁的键盘有背光支持?
MBP的键盘背光在启动gnome或者重新激活显示器的时候总是被点亮,很是烦躁,每次都要重新用命令行关闭,不知道是哪个进程控制的.

待机和休眠用sys-kernel/tuxonice-sources，相当简单。

我的声卡比较郁闷，能用耳机不能用本本上的喇叭。我的本本是dell的1400，
# lspci | grep Audio

正在升级，期待新版本可以支持。。。

在2.6.24-r8内核中，待机休眠可以直接通过内核支持了
