what will happen if I use alsa in my make.conf before I config my alsa device

I just complete basic gentoo install  this morning .And add   "alsa" to my USE before complie kernel to support it .


I found this ,when I am go through the Gentoo ALSA  Guide

"You can now add the alsa use flag to /etc/make.conf to ensure that your applications that support ALSA get built with it. Some architectures like x86 and amd64 have the flag enabled by default."

it appears after kernel support and alsaconf

如果是 ALSA 的话，还是看这个吧！
　　内核的配置和软件的配置缺一不可，前者在于内核中设置，后者在于安装 alsa-utils、启用 alsa 的 USE 标志等。

加了alsa标记也可以是指对未来的支持alsa的内核做好准备的意思
