在做emerge xorg-x11时候在/var/log/Xorg.0.log 中发现
"Fatal server error
  no screens found
"

请问是不是我的VGA dirver编译有问题呀?
那VIDEO_CARDS和INPUT_DEVICES应该怎么设定呢?

按照您的方法改了, 重新emerge xorg-11 每次都要编译xorg-x11-7.2
查看log文件说, Missing output drivers.

结果用想emerge xorg-server 可以了, 但不知这和emerge xorg-x11有何区别?
