stage 也要用amd64的吗?

你可以用x86的，当32位CPU用

其实最好全部用32位的，64位很多软件不太支持。

正想换回32位。

but i'm turning to amd64 from x86, 32-bits softwares are slower than 64-bits.

gentoo已经夠快了，我宁愿牺牲点速度换来更好的兼容性。
不过多些人用64位也好，有问题懂的了人就比较多了。

一般的常用软件都支持64位的。我在dell 2850 EM64T上跑64位gentoo跑mysql没任何问题。

比如mplaye和firefox我都用－bin，64位支持不好
还有一些麻烦的问题不知是不是64位的关系
