I can't use scim in the Gentoo Linux AMD64

when type "locale" in the xterm, it said:

& the scim can only has english input ,I never met the problem before  :confused:  :beat  :comp

难道是我的RPWT？用en_US.UTF-8,ja_JP.UTF-8都没有问题。。。

估计是locale -a没有zh_CN
所以locale不支持zh_CN

有没有编辑.xinitrc，按照emerge scim后的提示加入.xinitrc，use中要加入qtimm-bc，如果原来use中没有qtimm-bc，所有于qt有关的程序全部重新编译。

全都做了

偶也遇到这个问题了，应该是amd64的libc 默认不支持中文的locales


修改/etc/locales.build 加入中文
再重新编译glibc 就可以搞定了
