help!!!! My system can't support chinese!!

I just install Debian from hard disk. And I use apt-get to install software. Desk manager is gnome.I select the Language en_HK. I don't know how to edit or add source list of apt-get. My monitor's mode can't be changed as "1024*768", just "800*600" or "640*480".

please help !

用dpkg-reconfigure locales 选择loale 选择中文的local（zh_cn,zh_tw） 然后选择这些local登录。


在安装x-window-system的时候就可以选择1024X768 如果你确定你的显示器可以支持那么直接选择1024X768，不要选其他的。
