安装openoffice时遇见的问题

使用emerge opeoffice时
出现以下信息，有很长，我选了部分：
checking which nas to use... internal
checking which curl to use... external
checking curl/curl.h usability... yes
checking curl/curl.h presence... yes
checking for curl/curl.h... yes
checking for curl_easy_setopt in -lcurl... no
configure: error: curl not found or functional

!!! ERROR: app-office/openoffice-1.1.4-r1 failed.

编译安装openoffice已经完成，不过无法支持中文
我在emerge -s openoffice 的时候也没找到支持中文的插件
我应该怎么做才能让openoffice支持中文呢？
求指教，谢谢
