scim on FC4 crash all gnome apps

after i install the scim1.2.3(from fedora extra) and scim-pinyin-0.5.0....all my gnome apps can not be started. include gnome-terminal, panel,.....i meant all the apps.....i don't know why, and i can not type chinese now. so, james, do u have any idea about how could i use scim on FC4?

我的做法是：

1.yum remove iiimf*
2.yum install scim
3.yum install scim-devel
4.安装下载的scim-fcitx

参考了mopz0506同志的做法。

i only use pinyin.....i may try 2 re-compile it....hope it can works
